Following the success of the previous “Motorcycle Shows” we have decided to run the Show again this year. The “Motorcycle Show” is THE day for Hong Kong Bikers to all get together and show-off their “Iron Horses!”

| | The Event
As in 2006, 2007 and 2008, the Show aims to be a mixing of every aspect of Motorcycling in Hong Kong from the ‘Harley Hogs’ to the Moto-Crossers, from the Police Bikes to Superbikes! Everything you need to know about Biking in Hong Kong will be on Chater Road on 15th November, 2009. This is an opportunity for Bike Shops and Clubs to show themselves to the HK Community!

一如2006年,2007年及2008年，電單車展的目的是希望結集香港所有的電單車層面：由美式巡航到越野電單車；由**電單車到超級跑車！想知香港電單車的人民風貌，就必需於2009年11月15日(星期日)蒞臨中國遮打道。這是所有電單車行與車會社會展示他們的大好機會。

| | The Show Organisers –
‘Classic Auto-cycle Museum’
(CAM)
CAM was set up in 2003 to submit proposals for a “Motor Museum” to Government. We have organized numerous Classic Bike Shows and Events. CAM is a non-profit-** Club, with the primary aim to establish a Museum. We have the “software” (ie. Classic Motorcycles and Cars), we are actively looking for the financially viable “hardware” (ie. a building) to make this dream a reality! This can then be a permanent focus and meeting point for “Motor-heads” in HK. One day it will happen …! 香港運輸工具歷史文化博物館
(CAM)
CAM於2003年成立，並向**提交有關「汽機車博物館」的計劃書。我們曾經舉辦多次經典電單車展及活動。CAM是一個非牟利組織，宗旨為香港設立一個博物館。我們早已有齊博物館所需的「軟件」(例如經典電單車及汽車)，同時正積極地找尋財政上可行的「硬件」(例如建築物)讓我們實現這個夢想。博物館的成立將會成為香港的一個永久地標及車友聚腳點。我們相信終有一天能夢想成真……！有關CAM及過往車展的詳情，請參閱www.cam-hk.com。我們非常感激你們對博物館計劃書的意見及支持。

| | Show Location
The Show will be held again at on the pedestrianised area of Chater Road, Central. This extends from Jackson Road in the West, to Ice House Street in the West. The road will be closed-off to Public Traffic at 7.00am. Vehicle entrance to the Show is between Legco and HK Club only. Exhibitors will be permitted to commence fitting out their areas at 8.00am, with the Show commencing at 10.00am.

今屆電單車展將繼續於中環遮打道行人專用區舉行。由昃臣道以西至西邊的雪廠街。該段遮打道將於早上7:00起禁止車輛駛入。車輛如需進入展場，只可於立法會大樓與香港會之間駛入。參展單位可於早上8:00開始佈置場地，電單車展將於早上正式10:00開始。

| | The Show Layout
This year’s event will be similar to the previous “Motorcycle Shows” in 2006 and 2007. A minimum 4.5m wide Promenade will be maintained along the centre of the road for Emergency Vehicles (FSD, Ambulance, Police) to access from East to West. On North and South sides of the Promenade Biker Clubs and Shops will have their Display-areas. Each Club/Shop will be given a marked-out display-area for their Exhibit. Please be considerate to your neighbors! Exhibitors will be responsible for the cleanliness of their area and are expected to help clean the Street at the end of the Show. The public thoroughfare (shaded ‘yellow’ below in Map 3.0) between Star Ferry underpass and HSBC must not be obstructed at any time. The safety of Members of the Public must be considered paramount at all times. No vehicle movements are permitted by Government during the Show day.

今年的電單車展將會跟06及07年的相約。中央需預留4.5米闊的緊急車輛通道，可讓消防/救護或警車由東至西駛過。緊急通道南北兩邊可讓車會/商戶作為展覽區。請顧及您的左鄰右里！參展單位需自行負責展區的清潔，同時亦應於車展後協助清理街道。平面圖3.0中黃色區域為行人通道，由天星碼頭通往匯豐銀行，讓區於任何時候都不可阻礙。於任何時候，公眾安全都是必先的考慮。於電單車展期間，**禁止展區內任何車輛行駛。

| | Exhibit Layouts
The Exhibitors will be allocated a display area. Which ZONE do you prefer? The space will be allocated before the Show on a “first come, first served” basis. Exhibitors are free to layout their space as they wish. The Government specifies that no “structures” are permitted to be erected.

參展單位將獲分配一展示區，您們想在哪區展出？展示區將於車展前以先到先得形式分配。參展單位可自行規劃展區，惟**表示不可樹立任何「建築物」(Structure)。

| | COSTS of Show
Again access to the Show is offered FREE of Charge to all Club Members, Shops Customers, and the General Public! Clubs will participate in the Show for FREE. This year CAM asks the participating Shops to contribute to the Costs of the Show (eg. Government Permits, Government Insurance, Barrier hire, Prizes, Fire-extinguishers, Signage, etc, etc, etc!).

所車會會員、商號客戶及公眾，都可免費參觀。車會亦可免費參展。今年CAM將對所有參展商戶象徵式收取費用，用以支付部份車展成本(例如**牌照申請費、燕梳、租用路障、獎品、滅火筒、路標等等)。

| | Everyone participates in organizing the Show
Shops :
The many Shops/Importers that exhibited in 2006, 2007 and 2008 saw the value of participating, with exposure to 99% of HK Bikers. The Show is growing in popularity so we feel it appropriate that the Shops contribute a nominal Fee (say HK$500.oo) for their Stand to hrpl pay for the Show Costs. The purpose of the Event is an Exhibition to show HK Bikers what is available in the Marketplace (NO “commercial activity” is permitted in this Show on Government Land).

所有參展的商戶於2006年,2007年及2008年都能體會到參展的價值，尤其是能向99%的香港騎士們推介自家品牌。電單車展的歡迎程度正在增加當中，所以我們希望各參展商戶可以為每一攤位象徵式繳付參展費用(如HKD$500)。電單車展可讓各商戶在於向本地騎士推廣現時市場上的相關商品。(請謹記，於**公家土地上不可進行任何「商業行為」！

| | Advertising :
CAM appreciates the assistance of HK’s Biker Websites and magazines. We appreciate your assistance in informing HK’s Bikers about the Show. CAM request that the Shops put a small Poster in their windows, in October (forwarded later), to advertise the Show.

CAM感謝各香港電單車網站及雜誌的協助。我們感激您們向全港的電單車友推介電單車展。CAM希望各商戶可於十月份於店內張貼一小傳單(將於稍後發送)以宣傳電單車展。

| | Clubs :
We aim to have 99.9% of HK Bikers attend the Show - this is THE Day for HK Bikers! CAM requests each Club to inform their Members and Friends about the Show, and encourage them to attend.

| | Organisations :
Again this year we hope the Police Anti-crime Unit will put on a display in relation to the theft of motorcycles. We invite FSD and CAS to display their motorcycles. The HKAA have a 90 year history of Serving HK Bikers, they will unveil their latest Fleet at the Show.

我們今年希望**防止罪案科能提供有關電單車防盜的資訊，我們亦會邀請消防處及民眾安全服務隊展出他們的電單車。HKAA亦有90年服務香港電單車友，他們將會展示最新的服務團隊。

| | Parking :
Similar to 2008 we will Zone the East-side of Chater Road as a ‘Bike-park’ where Bikers can exhibit (“park”) their Bike … see and be seen!

一如2008年，於遮打道東面將設立泊車區。騎士們可以將他們的愛駒展示(「停泊」)於上址，讓大眾欣賞一下！

| | NO Sales … ‘Exhibition’ only!
The Government is VERY strict that this is a ‘Show’, not a ‘Market!’ Government will allow ‘give-aways’ eg. Stickers, fliers, or key-rings to advertise a Product or Company, etc. … but no “commercial activities.”

**已嚴格規定是次只是一次「車展」，而非「市集」。當局允許免費派發物品，如貼紙、傳單、鎖匙扣等物品以宣傳商品或店舖，但並不准許任何「商業活動」。

| | Organising Meeting
We will hold an ‘Organising Meeting’ in September, 2009 (date to be confirmed). All Clubs, Shops, etc are welcome to attend to propose ideas and discuss the Show.

我們將於2009年9月份舉辦籌備會議，詳細日子待定。歡迎各車會/商戶等等出席，為電單車展提供意見及商討意見。

| | Liabilities
All Exhibitors, Shops, Clubs, visitors, and viewers will participate in this Show at their own risk. “The Classic Auto-cycle Museum” (CAM) is a non-profit-** Enthusiasts Club and is not liable for any damage or loss to you or your property. If you require Insurance please arrange this independently at your own cost before the Show.

所有參展單位、商戶、車會、參觀者將就參與電單車展自行承擔風險。香港運輸工具歷史文化博物館(CAM)乃非牟利的志願組織，CAM將不會就任何人士或財物的損毀承擔責任。如有需要，請於電單車展前自行購買保險。
