Zhuhai Pan Delta Round 2 Race Report<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
珠海泛珠三角超级赛车节 – 夏季赛报道<o:p></o:p>

Luck was on the Zhuhai Pan Delta’s side as the almost one month long torrential rain finally cleared up for the 3 day weekend for the 2nd round of the Zhuhai Pan Delta Racing Festival. <o:p></o:p>
在经历了将近一个月的下雨天之后，上周末的泛珠三角超级赛车夏季赛节 -非常幸运地得以在晴朗的天气下举行。<o:p></o:p>

The Zhuhai Pan Delta race has always been the best promoted event in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">China</st1:country-region></st1:place>’s Motorsport events and as usual, the grandstand of this event was packed to capacity and its estimated that around 20,000 people attended the Festival, giving the event a great atmosphere and a lot of excitement.<o:p></o:p>
珠海泛珠三角超级赛车节一直以来都是中国赛车活动中推广做得最好的赛事，跟往常一样，主看台被挤得水泄不通，有大概20000人来到现场，为赛车节营造了热烈的气氛，让人兴致勃勃。<o:p></o:p>

The ZIC SBK Championship Series leader BG’s John Edwards, Paul McConnell, and Jonathan Dickenson from BG Shanghai were pitting with BG for the 1000cc Open Class 1, and BG’s own CSBK team rider Taiwan’s Lin Jiao Hao was racing in Class 2 after winning the previous two races in the first round of the Pan Delta in March earlier this year.<o:p></o:p>
来自BG的约翰·爱德华兹、保罗·麦考奈尔和乔纳森·狄金森驾驶1000cc宾车参加ZIC超级摩托车锦标赛公开一组的比赛，而在公开二组的比赛有BG中国超级摩托车锦标赛台Wan车手林家豪参加. (他在泛珠春季赛上获得了公开二组两回合的比赛的冠军)<o:p></o:p>

Even after a long lapse in the Championship, John Edwards did a great job to secure pole position for the race. Other Top riders from other teams such as Joao Fernandez from Macau, BG’s Lin Jia Hao, Yamaha’s Xiao Jin and He Zi Xian all qualified well for the main event.<o:p></o:p>
排位赛结束时，约翰·爱德华兹表现出色，获得杆位。来自其它车队的顶尖车手，例如澳门的费南德斯、BG的林家豪、雅马哈车队的肖进和何子贤，也获得了不错的排位。<o:p></o:p>

For the first race, Edwards took the lead and looked to be running away from the pack. A few laps later, a group of riders started to close on him including Fernandez, He Zi Xian and Xiao Jin. Eventually they worked their way past and the race was eventually won by Joao Fernandez, followed by He Zi Xian and Xiao Jin. Edwards crossed the line in fourth, but second in the Class one classifications. Lin Jia Hao crossed the line overall in 6th, but was 2nd in the Class two classifications. Paul McConnell was 6th and Jonathan Dickenson was 7th in the Class one classifications. <o:p></o:p>

In the second race, Edwards got another good start but again was fighting with the same riders from race one. The battles were fierce with John passing back and fourth multiple times per lap. In the end, Edwards got the better of He Zi Xian, and took the line in 3rd overall behind Fernandes and Xiao Jin. Paul McConnell and Jonathan Dickenson had a good battle further back in the pack and finished 6th and 8th respectively. Lin Jia Hao finished 2nd in his class for another podium finish.<o:p></o:p>

Jonathan Dickenson was riding for his first time at the Zhuhai Circuit and improved his lap times each session out, so we hope to see him more often at the Zhuhai races.<o:p></o:p>

- Road Hero races (Local China Street Modified Car owners)<o:p></o:p>
由于泛珠三角赛车节上有各种不同的比赛和活动，自举办以来就被看作是一项盛大的活动，上个周末的赛车节上就包含了以下赛事 ：<o:p></o:p>

The highlight of the weekend was the great Motorcycle Stunt show performed by BG’s newly recruited US Pro Stunt rider: Chuck Malott.<o:p></o:p>
Chuck’s stunt shows incorporated a girl assistant that rides with him during the show,<o:p></o:p>
The crowd loves this new act with roaring approval.<o:p></o:p>
周末的最大的看点就是来自BG新招募的美国特技车手Chuck Malott呈现给现场观众的特技表演。Chuck的表演中，有几个与女助女配合做特技表演的动作，这几个前所未见的动作，获得了观众如雷的掌声。<o:p></o:p>

These events draws a lot of attention and attendance from spectators from all over the South China provinces, Hong Kong and Macau and has draw more and more support and sponsorship from some of Top China’s famous brands and companies due to its extensive Press/Media report and Live TV broadcast.<o:p></o:p>
广受关注的泛珠三角赛车节，吸引了来自中国南方各省市、香港以及澳门的大量观众，由于新闻/媒体和电视直播对泛珠的广泛报道，这项赛事得到了越来越多中国知名品牌、公司的支持和赞助。<o:p></o:p>

The next Pan Delta race will be in Sept/08, and we’re all looking forward to this great festival again.<o:p></o:p>
