<td width="380">由<a href="https://www2.ibike.com.hk/ownersreport/ownersreport.asp?bikeid=20" target="_blank"><font color="#0000ff">CBR400RR</font></a>演變而來的<a href="https://www2.ibike.com.hk/ownersreport/ownersreport.asp?bikeid=195" target="_blank"><font color="#0000ff">CB-1</font></a>銷量麻麻,因當時日本的經濟正陷入衰退潮,人人口袋上鎖不願多花錢,令到實用的街車大受歡迎。於是催生了第一代CB400SF Big One接替退役的CB-1。,種下了CB400SF長青的銷售霸業。有關CB400SF車系介紹,請看右方黃格。 為免被環保法例封殺,直四400級車皇CB400SF終於追加Honda的PGM-FI電子燃油噴注系統,也標誌著另一個時代的來臨。REVO版的排氣喉也配合而有所改動,致力減低廢氣中的有毒物質。
採用電噴系統的CB400SF以「REVO」為記,馳名的HyperVTEC可變引擎閥門設定也有改動。以往設定何時使用雙閥門和四閥門主要取決於轉數,現在更增添多一項考慮因素:扭油筒的開啟角度和速度。要確保四個哇佬開晒,油門操作最好要急促一點。一字記之曰:「質」。
設有人工智能的ECU模組,會判斷駕駛者的意願決定是否開講四個閥門。如果是斯文順扭,即使轉數超過6,250rpm,也不會開啟四閥門。換句話說,以低波縮油衝落長命斜波,即使轉數達到哇佬全開的臨界線,REVO版本的CB400SF也不會開齊四個閥門。

在未說REVO版的感受之前,先重溫一下CB400SF的優點。「寧靜舒適,易用實用」。新REVO版的優點主要是把這八個字再發揚光大一點:「更」寧靜舒適,「更」易用實用:)
<p align="left">輕巧的super four車身在REVO版上再次感受到,轉動把手比以前更省力。頭尾避震的設定看以偏軟,但其實很適合在本港路面使用,承托力足夠而且相當舒適。
<p align="left">新死氣喉實在很靜,加上無震滑溜的怠轉表現,在街上很容易以為還未點火著車。也許環保條例實在太苛刻,我感到死氣喉在引擎高轉時的管束相當明顯。高轉時廢氣被「頂」住未能痛快地排出。那怕是更換一條JMCA喉都會有明顯改善。</td></tr>

<p align="left">以往三代HyperVTEC的介入聲音相當明顯,REVO版明顯減少了。尤其是REVO引擎聲大過喉聲的情況下,可說是一件相當奇妙的事。新REVO版的HyperVTEC啟動時,引擎聲浪不會突然升高太多,動力提升也來得較線性。如果Turbo有Turbo lag,HyperVTEC有VTEC Lag的話,REVO版的「踢lag」沒有上代般明顯。
<p align="left">要開動CB400SF REVO,只需要很基本的駕駛技術便可。要把CB400SF REVO開得快呢?只需肯扭動油門便可。爽快的引擎極歡迎你催油,CB400SF REVO版在低扭的演譯更回復了當年Big One版本的豐盛,但無損新款CB VTEC高轉的暢快!所以我說CB400SF REVO一定深受任何一代CB400SF車主的歡迎。REVO版的動力特性像夾在Big One年代和VTEC年代般,照顧到全區域轉數的表現。
<p align="left">日常行車常用三或四波,6000rpm以下經己相當足夠。要爽一爽嗎?三波7-8000rpm車速便超過120km/h,別忘記還有三個波和兩千轉在手呢。爆錶190km/h不難,難在你如何保持你的駕駛執照。</td></tr>

CB400SF REVO是同級車皇,新車售價和易手車價也都是皇。貴買貴賣,平買平賣嘛。雖然現在的售價直迫600級車種,但有心升級的各位新手,選擇時別只貪便宜,請因應自身技術水平而作出審慎決定。以香港的道路環境,CB400SF REVO其實經已相當夠用。有技術的話,CB400SF REVO更絕對不「慢」。</td></tr>
