Honda市販跑車陣營主將CBR1000RR Fireblade在2006年己經過多項改良，所以在07年便是踏入加推特別車花的必經階段。今次抵港的HRC Racing特別花，在日本也是等到去年年尾才接受預訂的搶手貨色。究竟HRC特別版與標準版，有何不同之處呢？

標準版的車主別以為只要改噴啡呤便完事。HRC Racing特別版除了全車啡呤不同之外，頭尾合金軨、倒立前叉、迫力卡鉗由標準版的黑色改換上沙金 色和銀色。合金軨是Enkei作品，倒立前叉路是Showa。除此之外，Tokico放射式四遮卡鉗也由黑色轉為金色。

坊間工作坊想去模仿HRC特別版，便要考慮合金輪圈、倒立前叉、尾搖臂和迫力卡鉗的顏色對應，增添改裝的成本和難度，直接打擊模仿的意欲，令HRC特別版更矜貴，坐擁更高收視。
