The Hong Kong Bike Show falls on the Sunday of 15/11/09, although this is only a 1 day Show but it’s the ONLY proper Bike show in Hong Kong .The Hong Kong Gov’t has allowed the organizer to blocked off a busy Pater Street in Central of the Hong Kong city center to host the show, so as the usual previous 3 years, we’re expecting a big turnover of visitors during the day.
BG Boss Steven has to rush a very tight 3 days Italian ECIMA Motorcycle show visit in Milan so to arrived back to Hong Kong on Sat night, then stay up all night to prepare all the exhibition Displays with our BG HK staffs and everyone get to the Central Exhibiting Ground at 5.30 am to erect the booths and displays.
The weather was predicted to be rainy and the little drizzle in the early morning gave everyone a scare, but luckily, it stopped within an hour and everyone rush back to set up their booths for the show.
Majority of the exhibitors are Motorcycle importers and dealers with many leading Bike clubs fill in the rest of the booths, BG is about the only high performance product and Motor Sport Promotion Company in the Show that has captured a lot of attention and visitors.
All through the day, thousands of people come and go from the show and with the sky staying dry that get a lot more bikers coming out in the afternoon. BG’s 11 staffs were busy all day taking care of our regular members and new visitors.Everyone shows a lot of interest to all the new products displayed for 2010 especially with the new Products secured by Star Bike such as : LASER Exhaust, MRW Air filters, BELL Helmets, SUPER SPROX ，etc.
It was a good show while it lasted, light rain started to fall persistently from around 4.30 pm, then by 5 pm, most people started to pack up as it has been a great day with estimated over 100,000 people attended the Show.
It was a very successful show for BG and Star Bike, BG’s dedicated member and good friend Darren being a Professional Male Model with the 2 pretty girl models captured a lot of attentions and brings in all the boys and girls to have their photo taken together, the all new 2010 collection from all of our products rec’d a lot of attention from all bikers and we’ll be looking into a lot of visits to our shops in Hong Kong and China in the next week or so.
This Hong Kong Motorcycle Show has been gaining strength from year to year, and we’d talked to the organizer to see the possibilities of the Gov’t granting us more days then only a Sunday, so that maybe in 2010, we can have a 2-3 days events together with the 4 wheels and Classic cars, then all exhibitors will have more reason to invest into a bigger show as there will be a lot more people coming to the show.
We’d like to thank all our members, friends who’d came out Sunday to see us and to all the new friends we’d met, we hope to see you all at the Track or one of the ride outs.
